Type of Brush: Contouring brush
Why I love it: I really enjoy the precision of this brush. The dense bristles make it easy to keep the product in one place, especially when I apply it to the contours of my cheeks. I also love that I can use cream OR powder with this brush!
Type of Brush: Precision Stippling Brush
Why I love it: This brush is awesome for applying powder! I use a liquid foundation and then apply my MAC Cosmetics Studio Finish powder, and I notice this brush is perfect for that part of my routine. I have always been a huge fan of stippling brushes, and really like the shape of this one. The bristles are very soft and it's great for building on a product, whether it is blush, highlighter, or foundation.
Type of Brush: Angled Blush Brush
Why I love it: I am sadly still on the fence with this brush! I have another angled brush I prefer a little more than this one, but it does get the job done. I think my biggest concern with this brush is the material of the bristles. It leaves my face feeling a little itchy? However, if you are in a pinch and need to buff out your contour, this brush will definitely come in handy!
These brushes have a wonderful price point, however, this does make them more fragile! When washing these brushes, I would stick to using a brush spray and only wash them by hand once a month as too much hand washing could disrupt the base of the brush, causing it to loosen.
